ASUS Transformer Prime, TF300 & Infinity TF700 Getting Android 4.1

By

If you own the original ASUS Transformer tablet and have been worried about getting the latest version of Android we have a little update for you this morning. We just got an e-mail from ASUS that says the Transformer Pad, Transformer Pad Prime and Transformer Pad Infinity will get Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) updates in the coming months. ASUS is still considering other devices, but the company is not promising to upgrade the original Transformer or the Eee Pad Slider to Android 4.1. This is good news for the Transformer Prime,TF300 and TF700 owners, but not so good for the original tablet users. Just remember you can always go visit the XDA-developers forum and find an unofficial way to put Android 4.1 on your device.
