Asus Releases New X99 Gaming Motherboard
More exciting news for gaming enthusiasts! A new line of X99 motherboards has just been released along with Intels new Broadwell-E processors with prices ranging from the basic i7 6800K at ($434) to the Extreme Edition i7 6950X ($1723): The Asus ROG STRIX X99 Gaming.
The motherboard is marketed for gaming readily equipped for advanced customization as well as full spectrum RGB lighting. The board supports i7 Processors with the Intel LGA 2011-v3 socket, two USB 3.1 slots, eight SATA slots (6Gb/s) and one SATA express slot, 2×2 WiFi with multi user MIMO (multiple-input and multiple-output) dual band antenna which allows up to a transfer speed of 867Mb/s, as well as space for eight DDR4 RAM with support for up to clock speeds of 3333MHz. The board also provides customizable aura lighting with 10 light settings and allows users to connect a 4 pin RGB LED strip to bring color to your build any way you like. The customization of the lighting can be synchronized with any RGB peripherals the player may have as well as provide any gaming build with a sleek look.
