ASUS Rampage IV Extreme Motherboard Review
ASUS Republic of Gamers Rampage IV Extreme Intel X79 Motherboard Retail Packaging
The ASUS Rampage IV Extreme Intel X79 motherboard retail packaging is part of the ASUS Republic of Gamers series of motherboards. Since it is an ROG motherboard it comes packaged in a Republic of Gamers themed box. The front of the retail packaging is kept clean and free of marketing text. Along the bottom edge of the Rampage IV Extreme packaging we can find some of the features listed, on the top right corner we can see that the Rampage IV Extreme is PCIe 3.0 ready.
As we have seen with many of the Republic of Gamers motherboards, the retail packaging for the ASUS Rampage IV Extreme has a front cover that can be opened up to take a look at the Rampage IV Extreme motherboard.
The inside of the front cover features the details about many of the key features of the ASUS Rampage IV Extreme.
The back of the retail packaging doesn’t have much in the way of marketing text. Instead ASUS has laid out the rear I/O panel and a basic specifications list.
Once we open up the retail packaging we are presented with a couple of internal boxes. The first box we go our hands on contains the actual Rampage IV Extreme Motherboard.
The bundle for the ASUS Rampage IV Extreme has pretty much everything we have come to expect in an ASUS Republic of Gamers Motherboard. Starting with the basics, we have the User Guide, driver disc, eight SATA cables (four SATA 6GB/s and four SATA 3GB/s), AMD CrossFireX Bridge, NVIDIA SLI Bridge, ASUS Q-Connect, ASUS ROG connect USB cable, and an ASUS Probeit cable set. The ASUS Rampage IV Extreme also has a few accessories that are geared more for the ‘Extreme’ users. Among these accessories is a triple SLI Bridge, Quad SLI Bridge, the OC Key, X-Socket adapter, and VGA Hotwire cables.
