ASUS P8Z68-V Pro Motherboard Review
Futuremark 3DMark 11 Synthetic Benchmark
3DMark 11 is the latest version of the worlds most popular benchmark for measuring the 3D graphics performance of gaming PCs. 3DMark 11 uses a native DirectX 11 engine designed to make extensive use of all the new features in DirectX 11, including tessellation, compute shaders and multi-threading.
Since Futuremark is releasing 3DMark11 today we decided to run the benchmark at both performance and extreme presets to see how our hardware will run.
Benchmark results: And so it continues, the ASUS P8Z68-V Pro proved that even in synthetic benchmarks it can hold its own. Running Futuremark’s 3DMark 11 benchmark, the ASUS P8Z68-V Pro outperformed the GIGABYTE P67A-UD7 by over 250 3DMarks (5.3%) in the performance preset. Cranking up the difficulty of the testing to the Extreme preset, the ASUS P8Z68-V Pro edged out the P67A-UD7 by 37 3DMarks (2.4%).
