CINEBENCH is a real-world cross platform test suite that evaluates your computer’s performance capabilities. CINEBENCH is based on MAXON’s award-winning animation software CINEMA 4D, which is used extensively by studios and production houses worldwide for 3D content creation. MAXON software has been used in blockbuster movies such as Iron Man 3, Oblivion, Life of Pi or Prometheus and many more.

Benchmark Results: The ASUS Maximus VII Impact Z97 motherboard was able to take the second spot in the charts when looking at the single core performance. Running Cinebench R15 on a single core, the Maximus VII Impact was able to hit a score of 158 points, second only to the ASUS Z97-Pro [Wi-Fi]. Running Cinebench on all of the available cores, the ASUS Maximus VII Impact was able to hit 801 points 2 behind the ASUS Z97-Pro [Wi-Fi]. Not surprisingly, the ASUS Maximus VII Impact was no match for the Intel X99 motherbaord running on all eight cores and 16 threads which were all in the realm of 1320 points.
