ASUS ENGTX570 DirectCU II Video Card Review
By
3DMark 11
3D Mark 11 is a standard synthetic benchmark using many DirectX 11 features. We ran 3D Mark 11 at all three default settings, Entry, Performance, and Extreme.
This benchmark uses a significant amount of tessellation processing which typically gives an edge to the FERMI based cards.
The chart tells the tail that we have seen across all these benchmarks with the slightly overclocked Radeon 6970 running just ever so slightly ahead of the ASUS GTX 570 DirectCU II in extreme mode. However in the other two setting the GTX 570 jumps ahead. To be clear the ASUS GTX 570 actually wins this test in 2 out of 3 categories and it is simply the way we sorted the chart that has it below the ATI 6970.
