Asus EN8600 GTS GeForce 8600 GTS Video Card
Asus EN8600 GTS & Test Setup
We covered the launch of the 8600GTS back in April for those of you that need a refresher.
The Asus EN8600GTS in our possession is 100% reference, coming with a GPU clock speed of 675 MHz, 1.45 GHz Shader clock, and 2.0 GHz memory. The 256 MB of memory rides a bus that is but 128 bits wide, yet is still capable of 32 GB/s transfer rate. As you can see in the photo above, we have the Stalker sticker attached to the heat sink on the card. The rest of the card is, again, the reference card with the standard green PCB and the PCI-E power connector.
