Assassin’s Creed III E3 Cinematic Trailer Shown At E3

Assassin’s Creed III is one of the most talked about game titles coming into E3 2012, and rightly so. Assassin’s Creed III will be set during the American Revolution from 1753 to 1783, featuring a new protagonist, Connor Kenway. Ubisoft showed off the game yesterday at E3 and in the glimpses shown, we were able to see a fluid combat system, bloody battlefields and an even Connor taking out his Redcoat/Templar target by way of a bayonet on a British musket.

The game also has a number of naval sequences that can be played that look pretty slick and is not something you’d expect in this title. Assassin’s Creed III’s multiplayer mode is still in development at Ubisoft and we heard that a 4 vs 4 mode called Domination will be included. All we know is that it could be loosely based on the classic King of the Hill gameplay.

The American Colonies, 1775. As a Native American Assassin fights to protect his land and his people, he will ignite the flames of a young nation’s revolution. In Assassin’s Creed III, eliminate your enemies with guns, bows, tomahawks, and more! In development for over three years, the game features the new Ubisoft-AnvilNext engine, a stunning technology that will revolutionize gaming.
