ASRock X58 Extreme3 Bios Images
The main page of the BIOS shows you what processor you have installed, as well as what speed you have your memory set at. At the top of the page you can change the date and time.
The top half of the OC Tweaker page allows you to set all your frequencies and multipliers manually or you can use the EZ OC settings provided. The CPU EZ OC settings will take you from 3.6GHz to 4.2GHz. The DDR3 EZ OC will bring your memory up to 2133MHz.
There is no shortage of voltages in the BIOS; there should be more than enough to smoke any components you throw at the ASRock X58 Extreme3.
Above you can see the different configuration options you have under the advanced tab.
In the CPU configuration of the advanced tab you can enable or disable the different technologies that are incorporated into the I7 processor.
Here you can enable or disable the chipset features like the onboard audio or LAN. The good night LED is an option that allows you to turn off the power LED and motherboard LED’s when the computer enters stand by or hibernation modes.
The storage configuration allows you to see your hard drive modes and configure a raid.
Here you can disable the onboard USB should you choose to.
Now that the BIOS tour is behind us we can move on and see how well the ASRock X58 Extreme3 performs in a head to head with an EVGA X58 tri-SLI board!
