Here we have a great little accessory from NZXT in the Sentry LXE external fan controller which is controlled by its touch screen. The Sentry LXE is designed to be mounted on your desk or atop your computer tower for great convenience and not only controls up to five fans but also has five temperature sensors which it can monitor and adjust fan speed for to maintain the temperature threshold you set! The NZXT Sentry LXE External Touch Screen Fan Controller is the next generation in their Sentry fan controller line and is the next in line after the Sentry LX. The biggest difference between the two is that the Sentry LXE is not mounted inside the drive bays of your case; it is actually a unit that is made to sit on the top of your desk or computing surface. This is the first external fan controller that NZXT has designed and the first external fan controller that we have ever reviewed.
