The Arctic Sound E352 headphones were great to try out as you never know what you are going to get when you listen to a pair of speakers that you have never listened to. The very first second that we used the E352’s we noticed how comfortable they were to wear. During the review of these we used them for a flight from St. Louis to Los Angeles and they were easy on the ears even when using then the vast majority of the 3 hour 30 minute non-stop flight out there. This is good thing as no matter how good a pair of ear buds is, if they don’t feel good to wear you won’t use them. Arctic Sound E352’s are comfortable, so no worries there.

When it comes to audio quality we ran up to Wal-Mart and bought a pair of JVC HA-FX35 In-Ear Marshmallow inner ear headphones for $20 plus taxes to see how something that you could get locally here in the United States would compare. We left the volume the same on our Microsoft Zune HD 32GB media player and tried out both ear buds. The differences were huge to say the least as the 8.5mm neodymium driver on the JVC HA-FX35 Marshmallow headphones had really bad bass and the range was terrible. The Arctic Sound E352’s cost twice as much money, but sounded ten times better. When it comes to bass alone the 10mm drivers on the E352’s more than pounded away the competition and the range and clarity was better across the board. The E352’s were also comfortable to wear and had a much better fit that led to better noise isolation when compared to the JVC HA-FX35’s. The only thing that felt lacking when it came to the Arctic Sound E352’s was the higher notes, which was noticeable on female vocals. For the average user they should sound great as the mid-range sounds very clean and lifelike.

The Arctic Sound E352’s are backed by a two year warranty, so in the event that you blow out a speaker or have any issues with the ear buds you can return them to have them swapped out. Most budget headphones come with a 12 month warranty, so with the extra cost associated with these head phones comes a longer warranty. By the time you add up the extra comfort, longer warranty period, better audio quality and the storage case it becomes really easy to recommend the Arctic Sound E352’s over something that you can find locally for less than half the price. These are really that much better and you get what you pay for. You can also tell all your friends that they are made from real wood and brag about how much cooler your ear buds are! �

Legit Bottom Line: The Arctic Cooling E352 headphones can be found for ~$50 and are hands down a better choice than spending half that much on a pair of economic headphones that you’ll end up not using because they hurt to wear and sound like garbage.
