Apple Updates13-inch MacBook Pro and MacBook Air
Apple has announced that it has updated the MacBook Air adding True Tone to its Retina display for a more natural viewing experience. Apple also dropped its price to $1,099, and college students can get it for $999. The entry-level MacBook Pro has been updated as well.
The 13-inch MacBook Pro starts at $1,299 and now uses the latest 8th generation Intel quad-core processors making it twice as powerful as before according to Apple. Apple notes that the updated entry-level MBP also features Touch Bar, Touch ID, and True Tone Retina display along with the Apple T2 Security Chip.
That entry-level MBP can be had for $1,199 for college students. Both of the machines are part of the Apple Back to School promotion and include a free pair of Beats Studio 3 wireless headphones.
The Apple Back to School Promotion has kicked off today. Both machines will support macOS Catalina that will land this fall. Both of the updated machines are available today via Apple.com and will be in stores later this week.
