Apple Sets March 27 Deadline for First iPad Apps

By

In an e-mail sent to registered iPhone developers, Apple has said that March 27 will be the deadline for applications prior to the iPads launch. While no official date has been given for the iPad release, speculation is that April 3 will be the day that the iPad arrives in stores. There is also likely to be an iPad App section separate from the iPhone and iPod Touch area of the new App Store.

Apple iPad App Launch

Submitted applications must be built with the iPhone SDK 3.2 beta 5, the most recent version of Apples developer tools, and must be digitally signed and uploaded to iTunes Connect by Saturday, March 27, 5p.m. PT in order for consideration. Fulfill those requirements and Apples App Review Team will take a look at the program and let you know if your app is ready for the iPad.
