Apple Nears Cloud-Music Deals

The term ‘cloud’ continues to be one of the hot buzzwords in technology and rumors have been swirling for some time about Apple getting a firm footing in the realm of cloud based music. Now it sounds like negotiations are going strong and Apple may be nearing rollout with features others may not be able to offer giving Apple a significant advantage over others.
Apple has signed a cloud-music licensing agreement with EMI Music and is very near to completing deals with Universal Music Group and Sony Music Entertainment, multiple music industry sources told CNET.
