Apple iPhone 4S – Has Dual Core CPU & GPU w/ A5 chip and Better Battery Life

People have been wondering, “how do you follow up a hit product like the iPhone 4? Well, Apple just announced the iPhone 4S with iOS 5. It starts with a retina display, glass in front and back, same form factor as the iPhone 4. But inside, it is all new. Its got an A5 processor. The iPhone 4S will be using the A5 processor, which features a dual-core CPU and a dual-core graphics processor. Apple says that the iPhone 4S will be up to 7x faster than the iPhone 4 in graphic intensive gaming applications. Apple has also managed to increase battery life on the iPhone 4S, as the device now has up to 8 hours of talk time. Apple also redesigned the wireless system on the iPhone 4S as it can data can now download up to 2x as fast. Theoretical max performance used to be 5.8 up and 7.2 down now doubles to almost 14.4Mbps down. The camera on the Apple iPhone 4S has also been updated to one that has an 8 megapixel sensor capable of shooting images at a resolution of 3264×2448. The CMOS backside illuminated sensor used on the iPhone 4S gets 73% more light than the iPhone 4 sensor, and is 33% faster. When it comes to video you can now shoot 1080p full HD video with real-time video image stabilization and noise reduction. The Apple iPhone 4S will be available in the following capacities: 16GB for $199, 32GB for $299, and 64GB for $399. This also marks the first time in any iPhone device has been offered at 64GB. Pre-orders start on October 7th and the phone actually launches on the 14th. Apple has clearly updated and improved upon the iPhone 4 with the much improved iPhone 4S.
