Apple Introduces Aperture 3

Apple has released it’s much anticipated photo-editing software update with Aperture 3. Added are a slew of new features with the inclusion of the Faces and Places component which has been a big hit with users. The cost is $199 for new users and upgrades are $99 although there is a 30 day trial for those interested in trying before buying. Available at the Apple store now.
Apple today introduced Aperture 3, the next major release of its powerful photo editing and management software, with over 200 new features including Faces, Places and Brushes. Building on the innovative Faces and Places features introduced in iPhoto ’09, Aperture 3 makes it even easier and faster to organize large photo libraries.
