AMD to Release Mobile HD 7000 Series in Q2 2012

AMD recently released the Radeon HD 7970 graphics card and now the company is planning on releasing the Radeon HD 7000 series GPUs for OEM notebook system builders. The Radeon HD 7000m series GPUs will be based on the same 28nm technology, support Direct X 11.1, and use AMD Graphics Core Next (GCN) architecture, just like their desktop brethren. Laptops sporting the Radeon 7000m series GPUs are expected in Q2 2012.
