AMD To Introduce Three New 95 W FX Series Processors

AMD is set to introduce three new FX Series CPUs by the end of this quarter. The new series of chips will have a 95 W TDP, the FX-4150 quad-core, FX-6120 hex-core, and the FX-8140 octa-core. The FX-4150 will have a base clock of 3.9 GHz (4.1 GHz Turbo) with 12MB of total cache, the FX-6120 will come clocked at 3.5 GHz (4.1 GHz Turbo) packed with 14 MB of total cache. The FX-8140 will be clocked at 3.2 GHz (4.1 GHz Turbo) and will sport 16 MB of total cache. The models are all AM3+ package using a 32nm process. There is currently no word on pricing.
