AMD has confirmed that a third Ryzen Threadripper will be launching soon, the Threadripper 1900X. The AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1900X 8-core, 16-thread processor that has a 3.8GHz boost clock and a 4.0GHz boost clock. Despite having only 8-cores it still has 64 PCIe lanes, supports quad-channel DDR4 memory and is fully unlocked for overclocking fun.
The price of the Ryzen Threadripper 1900X is going to be $549 and it will be available to purchase on August 31st at your favorite retailer. This price point puts it about $50 below the Intel Core i7-7820X 8-Core processor. This is a rather interesting processor due to the price point and the robust features found on the AMD X399 Platform.
