AMD Releases Catalyst 12.4 CAP1
AMD has released Catalyst Application Profiles 1 (CAP1) for the Catalyst Radeon driver v12.4, to be used on CrossFire setups, sporting the usual improved CrossFire performance and fixes. The full details are below and the tiny 0.5MB file can be downloaded at the link at the bottom.
This release of AMD Catalyst delivers support for the latest AMD CrossFireX profiles. A separate executable file ensures users have access to the latest set of profiles installed on their PC.
New profiles added to this release:
– Counter Strike: GO: Improves CrossFire performance
– FireFall: Improves CrossFire performance
– Test Drive: Ferrari Legend: Improves CrossFire performance
– Sniper Elite 2: Improves performance for single GPU configurations
– The Walking Dead: Resolve corruption when enabling Anti-Aliasing through the Catalyst Control Center on single GPU configurations
– Blades of Time: Resolve corruption when enabling Anti-Aliasing through the Catalyst Control Center on single GPU configurations
– Majesty HD: Disables CrossFire support, as the title is incompatible with CrossFire
