AMD Releases Beta Linux Graphics Mining Driver for Better Cryptocurrency Performance

AMD has released AMDGPU-PRO Beta Mining Driver 17.40 for Linux users! This is the first mining driver for Linux users that adds large page support for improved performance on Blockchain Compute Workloads. This driver is not intended for graphics or gaming workloads. If you’d like to download the AMDGPU-Pro Beta Mining Driver head on over here and pick from either the build for RHEL 7.3 / CentOS 7.3 or Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS. We suspect this build has the performance improvement at high DAG sizes for Vega/RX580/RX480 when mining.
