AMD FX-8130P ES B0 Processor Benchmarking Video On YouTube!

By

Have you seen the videos uploaded on YouTube that show what looks to be a user demonstrating of an engineering sample of the upcoming Bulldozer FX-8130P Processor running both stock and overclocked frequencies? The FX-8130P chip used here is part of the older B0 revision as seen from the AIDA64 CPU ID menu and is an engineering sample. Hey AMD, where is our sample? We won’t have much to write about for the launch article at the rate all these leaks keep happening.

AMD Bulldozer B0 stepping ES benchmark at 3.2Ghz:

AMD Bulldozer at 4.1GHz w/ DDR3-2400Mhz! :

The FX-8130P we reported earlier to be a 3.8Ghz Stock chip with Turbo Core upto 4.2Ghz but the default clocks shown in the video are much lower, The CPU is clocked at 3.2Ghz(201 x 16.0) @ 1.44V with a max TDP rating of 186W, 8 Cores/8 Threads and 8MB of L3 Cache. The user also ran on overclocked settings of 4.12Ghz(1.44V) with the memory clocked at 2400mhz at CL7 timings. The benchmarks used were Super Pi (1M) and AID64 benchmark. At default settings, The CPU scored 27.409 sec in Super Pi (1m) and 14506MB (Read)/9072MB (Write)/ 17489 (Copy) in AID64. With overclocked frequencies AID64 reported a score of 17633MB (Read)/11540MB (Write)/ 16899 (Copy).
