AMD Bulldozer CPUs Launching October 12th w/ Prices Starting at $175
The site DonanimHaber has scoured the web looking for retail prices for AMD’s next generation performance desktop processor series, the AMD Zambezi-FX. What they found out is that the prices are going to be a lot lower than expected. The site goes on to say that AMD is planning to launch the new processor series on October 12th and that AMD will be releasing three part numbers at launch. The three processors will be the eight-core FX-8150, FX-8120, and six-core FX-6120, priced at US $245, $205 and $175, respectively.
As a standard AMD’s 3.6GHz Core 2.0 running and Turbo 4.2GHz technology up to the FX-8150 8-core processor that can automatically be presented the $ 245 level will go above 5GHz with overclocking speaking, in terms of number of cores in the market will be the most aggressive model processor, $250 will be offered at a price that’s below. 3.1GHz AMD’s running on and automatically movable to 4GHz’s Turbo Core 2.0 with 8-core processor, the FX-8120 from the $205 level will be presented. 6-core 3.3GHz model and in the standard operating speed of 3.6GHz automatically to FX-6100 processor to market in the $175 level.
