Amazon Echo Show 5 Debuts at $89.99

Amazon has unveiled a new version of the Echo Show that it has a smaller 5.5-inch screen and a smaller price. The Echo Show 5 has a compact design with rich sound and an integrated camera shutter. Echo Show 5 promises rich and full sound for listening to videos or playing music.

The device also supports watching shows from streaming services like Prime Video and other sources. The device has a new smart home dashboard that allows control over smart items in your home. The device has all new clock faces and can be used to wake you up with an alarm.

Amazon fits an ambient light mode that auto-adjusts the screen brightness based on the lighting in the room to keep it from being too bright or too dim. Other features include support for hands-free video calls.

One Echo Show 5 can connect with others in the same home to announce when dinner is done or for other needs. Show 5 has a microphone and camera off button that electronically disconnects both and a special shutter that can cover the camera lens. The device will ship to the US and other countries in July and can be pre-ordered now.
