Amazon Brags about Christmas Sales

Amazon is taking the time after the holiday rush to brag about how well it did in sales. Sadly, it didn’t offer up any specific numbers for individual items sold, if that is the sort of data you are hoping for, you are out of luck. Amazon has said that more items had been “ordered worldwide than ever before.”

Amazon also confirmed that this Christmas sales season was its best yet. Amazon says that tens of millions of customers signed up for Prime this Christmas season reports Breibart.

The online giant also noted that a billion itmes were shipped with Prime in the States during the shopping season. Among the best selling products on the e-commerce site was the Echo Dot device. Amazon had special skills for the holidays as well with the most popular being “Alexa, turn on the Christmas tree.”

Amazon is still offering deals on items for those out there who have Christmas cash burning a hole in their pocket. It’s too bad Amazon hasn’t provided sales numbers on specific devices, that would be interesting to know.
