Acer Predator XN253Q Gaming Monitor Debuts

Acer has launched the new Predator XN253Q X monitor that promises a fast 0.4ms response time for accurate gameplay even with the fastest gaming action. The screen also has a 240Hz refresh rate and supports NVIDIA G-sync tech.

The monitor has 8-bit color depth and covers 72% of the NTSC color gamut. Native resolution for the display is 1920 x 1080, and it has dynamic contrast of 100,000,000:1 and brightness is rated at 400 nit.

The panel uses twisted nematic film, and it has a tilting and swiveling stand. The maximum adjustable height is 4.53-inches. The display does have a pair of integrated speakers with 2W output.

Connectivity includes HDMI, USB, and Display Port. The screen can be wall mounted if desired using a standard 100×100 VESA mount. Acer ships the XN253Q with a DisplayPort cable, power cord, and USB 3.0 cable. The 24.5-inch display sells for $499.99.
