The Bundle
The bundle that comes with the AT8 32X is a typical abit bundle… nothing flashy. You get the basic cables to set up your drives, including one IDE, one floppy and six…. yes that is right SIX SATA cables! You also have your USB header and I/O backplate. The included documentation is very well done, which is typical abit. Nice colors and very detailed info. And of course, you have your CD with the appropriate drivers and utilities that are needed to run the board and monitor different functions. Back to the SATA cables that abit gives you…. take a look again, as these are just a little different:
You can see the little retention clip on these cables. This is a nice little “upgrade” to the normal SATA cables that you get. These snap right into place on the SATA connectors on the board, are very sturdy, and do not come loose form the board unless youpurposely want them off.
