A Sneak Peak at the AMD Radeon HD 6850 and 6870 Video Cards
This is a big week for AMD with the Llano Fusion APU architecture and Radeon HD 6800 GPU releases, so they decided to break it up by releasing the exterior pictures of the cards from NDA, meaning that our readers can get a peak at what the reference cards will actually look like including the back of the PCB and physical specs! Specifications of the cards have not been released from NDA, though the Chinese site Chiphell.com released a ton of info and slides as we just recently posted. So make sure you check out what the cards will look like to hold you over until Friday for the official release!
Today, we have the ability to tell you the product names of the AMD Radeon HD 6800 series only, show you the photos of the AMD Radeon 6800 series cards and give you a peak at an upcoming demo AMD made called Mecha Rampage. Since we have already told you the product names, we’ll skip right to the pictures and let you take a sneak peak of the cards that we will be reviewing in-depth later this week. The Radeon HD 56850 video card measures 9″ long and is a dual-slot card with a squirrel cage type cooling fan on it.
