All tests were run using a clean install of Windows Vista Ultimate 64 Bit. For our stock speed tests, we ran everything at default timings for the CPU. Our stock speed testing on our DDR2 boards used a PNY XLR8 DDR2 1173 2 GB kit at 2.1 vDimm at DDR2 1066, and timings of 5-5-5-18 and 2T.
This is how we set up our testing for each game:
Resolution for each game was set to 1024×768
FEAR
We set both Computer and Graphics to Low
Company Of Heroes
AA was turned off
All settings were set to Low
Shadows, post processing and Object scarring were off
Model detail was set to Low
STALKER
AA was turned off
Render was set to Objects dynamic lighting
Quality settings were set to Low
Call Of Duty 4
AA was turned off
All textures were set to Low
