Samsung Announces The WB700 Camera For $299 w/ 24mm Schneider KREUZNACH Lens

Samsung recently announced the launch of the new WB700, the ultra-slim camera with an impressive 24mm ultra-wide Schneider KREUZNACH lens. This lens offers 24X zoom function, made up of an 18X optical zoom and 1.3X Smart Zoom. The WB700 has an impressive 16 Megapixel (MP) CCD sensor as well. If that doesn’t make you interested then you’ll be happy to know that the WB700 has full manual control and the ability to record full 1080p high definition video (H.264 format)! Not bad for a camera with an MSRP of $299.99 The only bad news is that it will not be released until April 2011.
