MSI Shows Off P67 Motherboard Running 32GB (4 x 8GB) of DDR3 Memory!

Intels highly anticipated Sandy Bridge processors and the P67 chipset that is needed to run it isn’t expected to be released until CES 2011, but that hasn’t kept information from leaking out at all. MSI has posted up images on social networking sites that show their MSI P67A-GD65 motherboard running an Intel Core i7-2600K processor along with 32GB thanks to four 8GB DDR3 memory modules! The company didn’t mention what clock speeds or timings the modules were running, but the fact that these boards can do 32GB is impressive. I guess that means we will see 32GB kits in 2011 and down the road we might even be talking 64GB as the manufacturing process continues to shrink!

Sandy Bridge adopters who desire tons of random access memory aka RAM will be happy to know that MSI has claimed support for 32GB of memory with its incoming P67A-GD65 motherboard powered by the Intel P67 chipset. Seen below are the CPU-Z screens showing off the P67A-GD65 equipped with 32GB of RAM and paired up with a Core i7-2600K ES (engineering sample). Hopefully the 32GB support will encourage the likes of Corsair, OCZ, Kingston and others to release such kits.
