Many of you might have noticed that NVIDIA never did come out with a Dual-GPU video card soltuion using the GF100 core found on the GeForce GTX 480 video card. It was rumored a graphics card on this core was planned, but never materialized due to how the GF100 ‘Fermi’ core ended up turning out. Now that NVIDIA has released the GeForce GTX 580 video card with the refined GF110 ‘Fermi’ core the company looks like they are full steam ahead with the launch of a dual-GPU card. A Chinese site eNet has posted up pictures of what they are calling a GeForce GTX 595 video card. They claim the single PCB video card will come with a pair of GF110 GPUs linked by a bridging chip, possibly the NF200. They also believe the card has 3GB of memory, shared evenly between the two graphics processors.

The reference design PCB of the dual-GF110 accelerator (which still needs some components fitted) reveals quite a lot about the card taking shape. First, it’s a single PCB card, both the GPU systems are located on the same PCB. Second, there are slots for three DVI output connectors present, indicating that the card with be 3D Vision Surround ready in a single card. You just have to get one of these, plug in three displays over standard DVI, and you’re ready with a large display head spanning three physical displays. Power is drawn in from two 8-pin PCI-E power connectors. The card is 2-way SLI capable with another of its kind.
