iOS 4.1 glitch lets you bypass lock screen

By

It looks like iOS 4.1 has a serious bug that will let someone partially bypass the lock screen and access certain features of the phone including the address book. While no official word has been elicited from Apple (and likely never will), odds are good that it will be patched in the next release. In the meantime, if you are running iOS 4.1, be sure not to let your phone fall into the hands of others who may employ this hack to access your personal information.

Your iPhone’s passcode entry can’t block everything, it seems — at least not with iOS 4.1.
