QNAP Announces NMP-1000P HD Media Player
QNAP today announced their NMP-1000P HD media player. This player features the newest generation hardware-based decoder from Sigma Designs, which would be the SMP8643 SoC. This is a 667MHz CPU that has been paired with 512MB of RAM for what they say is silky smooth playback of video files encoded in H.264 or other popular formats for up to 1080p resolution. The QNAP NMP-1000P media player is available now for an unknown price.
