ASUS Releases All Holdings D-Link

Asustek Computer has completely released its holdings of 12.5 million shares in network equipment maker D-Link, generating an investment income of NT$47.49 million (US$1.5 million), according to a company filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE). This is an interesting move, but we do not know the reasons behind it.
Asustek released its holdings in D-Link from November 26, 2009 to September 16, 2010 and the total transaction value reached NT$342 million, or NT$27.267 per share on average, Asustek noted.
