Apple Announces New iPods, New iTunes and 2nd Gen Apple TV

Steve Jobs has announced a slew of new updates for their mobile devices and the introduction of new products including a new family of iPods, a new iTunes overhaul, and a new, second-generation Apple TV. Every iPod device has been updated making it the biggest iPod update in Apple history. Jobs even gave a sneak peak of iOS 4.2 coming out in November that is iPad centric with the ability to multitask and use folders on the iPad device! The third major announcement was a new, smaller, 2nd-Generation Apple TV. The new Apple TV has an HDMI output, WiFi-N, Netflix streaming capabilities, and a new “Rental Model” and a revamped user interface. ABC and Fox have agreed to rent TV shows for $.99. The new Apple TV will be available in November.

Apple's New Announcements

Apple today announced the new iPod touch, packed with incredible new features including Apples stunning Retina display, FaceTime video calling, HD video recording, Apples A4 chip, 3-axis gyro, iOS 4.1 and Game Centerall combined in the thinnest and lightest iPod touch ever. The new iPod touch features up to 40 hours of music playback and seven hours of video playback on a single battery charge.
