2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 Unveiled

Today, Ford announced the new Mustang Boss 302. The folks at Blue Oval outfitted this “race car with a license plate” with 440 horsepower and 380 lb.-ft. of torque. It will have a race-inspired clutch with a short-throw and a six-speed manual transmission. The Boss 302 will be introduced as a 2012 model and will be priced somewhere between a Mustang GT and Mustang GT 500 when it goes on sale next spring.
The team of Ford engineers and designers that created the 2011 Mustang GT has distilled a new model to its purest form, strengthening, lightening and refining each system to create a race car with a license plate. The 2012 Mustang Boss 302.
