People posing, and talking, as their pets on Facebook

Unsurprisingly, some people’s lives are so uninteresting that their pets lives make for more intriguing online discussions. So much so that now pet owners are making Facebook accounts for their pets and posting for them by proxy.
There’s nothing too unusual about the way Shiva Lingham starts her day. After a quick breakfast, she goes upstairs and crawls into her mom’s unmade bed. An hour or so later, a well-rested Shiva visits the family laptop to log on to Facebook and update her status. Only Shiva can’t use the laptop alone — she doesn’t have opposable thumbs. But then, most cats don’t.
