PopBox Ship Date Set For July 23rd – Better Late Than Never
Have you been waiting for the PopBox Media Player to be released? If you have been we have some good and bad news for you. For starters the developers have posted that it should be delivered to Amazon on July 23rd. The bad news is that is a few weeks beyond their target date of this weekend. The PopBox Media Player can be pre-ordered for $129.99 and $149.99 for those that want the PopBox Wireless Media Player
We have arrived at a definitive ship date for the PopBox. The Good News its just a few weeks from today. The Bad News its a few weeks from today. We had been working feverishly to make the July 4th weekend but although the firmware is good to go the software as of today just wasnt quite where we wanted it to be, so we made the call to delay getting the boxes shipped out from Amazons warehouses until July 23rd. Compared to what weve seen out there thus far, the UI weve put together is truly a cut above, and were also pleased with the fact that the box plays just about everything we can throw at it movies in the most popular formats, home videos, etc.
