NVIDIA Releases GeForce 258.69 Beta Video Card Drivers

NVIDIA just announced the their very first 3D Vision Surround Beta drivers today from their new Release 256 family of drivers. The GeForce/ION Driver release 258.69 was made available this morning and is ready to download. This driver package supports GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100, 200, 300, and 400-series desktop GPUs as well as ION desktop GPUs. The release notes state that 3D Vision Surround gaming is not supported on a 3way SLI systems using GeForce GTX 200

Whats New in Version 258.69:
- Added support for NVIDIA Surround technologyinclude 3D Vision Surround
which works with SLI and PhysX controls to combine multiple displays to act as one
larger display, allowing a panoramic view of fullscreen games or your desktop. - Added support for GeForce GTX 400M series of notebook GPUs.
- This driver package installs NVIDIA PhysX System Software v9.10.0223.
- This driver package installs the HD audio driver, version 1.0.9.1.
