Is Bad Glue Causing The HTC EVO 4G To Have Glass Separation & Light Leakage?

By

While the HTC EVO 4G got off to a flying start, some bad news has been trailing the device recently, and now some users are complaining that the device is suffering from glass separation issues, leading to possible light leakage. Conspiracy theories say that the adhesive holding the glass is failing, causing the screen to peel up a bit and embark on a very slow journey to capacitive independence. No official response from HTC yet as to if this is a serious issue or not.

Apparently the glass on the HTC EVO 4G’s screen can start to loosen from its mount on the device, and the light leakage issue could get worse when users press on the screen while trying to clean off finger smudges. HTC hasn’t officially released a statement on this just yet, but hopefully this isn’t a widespread issue, and it’ll be sorted out sooner rather than later.
