CNN has an interesting article covering what Foxconn is doing in reaction to the many suicides that have been coming from their Shenzhen factory in mainland China. From grief counselors to stress rooms where workers can take a bat to a mannequin, Foxconn seems to be indicating they are taking many steps to improve working conditions. Apple, Dell, HP and Sony are all conducting their own investigations into the string of suicides at Foxconn since they rely on Foxconn to manufacture products like Apple’s iPad and iPhone.
