April Fools: Nintendo Games Coming to iPad this Summer!

Nintendo has jumped on the “App Store” bandwagon and has decided to offer its games to iPad users starting June 15. Breaking news from PlaySwitch tells of how developers have seamlessly ported the latest Wii and DS games to the new Apple iPad. This may look too good to be true, but you can be the judge.

Starting June 15th, Apple iPad users will be able to browse, purchase, and play Nintendo published Wii and DS games directly on their tablet device, as well as full online and multiplayer features of each, including full cross-platform online play. But that’s not all, as Nintendo plans to make their Wii remote and Nunchuk controllers fully compatible wirelessly, and will offer new versions of Super Mario, Wii Fit, and even a few surprises to help convince fans to take a bite of Apple’s latest gadget.
