MSI Afterburner v1.6.0 Beta 1 Released For Download – Supports GeForce GTX 480

MSI today launched the latest beta version of the MSI Afterburner overclocking utility that has support for the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 and GTX470 video cards that were both launched last week. Afterburner 1.6.0 also has new logging support, so grab the latest version here if you need it. The screen capture below shows Afterburner 1.6.0 beta 1 running on our NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 reference card.

Improvements in MSI Afterburner 1.6.0 Beta 1:

  • Added initial support for NVIDIA GeForce GTX 400 Series
  • Added basic screen capture support by means of built-in screen capturing engine of MSI OSD server
  • Added hardware monitoring history logging support.
