Apple iPad to Cost $500

Apple’s Steve Jobs has announced that the new Apple iPad will start at $500. The iPad will have built in WiFi and some models will come with 3G wireless. The top of the line iPad will have 64GB of built-in memory and 3G will cost $829. Apple says their unlimited data plan will cost only $30 per month with AT&T with no contract.
“We had a very aggressive price goal, because we wanted to put it in the hands of a lot of people. So we have a breakthrough deal in the US. We hope to have our international deals in the June / July timeframe. However, all of the iPad 3G models are unlocked, and they use the new GSM microSIMs.”
