Google Promotes New Storage Program with Free Eye-Fi Card

Google and Eye-Fi have collaborated to make photo sharing and storing easier. Just in time for the holidays, anyone who purchases 200GB of storage through Google will also receive a free Eye-Fi Home Video Card, and a free year of Online Sharing and Geotagging services. Picasa was one of the first to integrate with the original Eye-Fi Card, and YouTube was the first online site where consumers could upload videos. If you are looking to shoot and share your holiday memories, you might want to pay close attention to this promotion.

Eye-Fi and Googles Picasa

Users can enjoy automatic backup of their memories with Google and Eye-Fi, and store up to 100,000 5MB photos under the 200GB plan. The combined power of Googles Picasa Web Albums and Eye-Fis automatic geotagging service also lets users easily view their photos plotted on a map where the image was taken, and search or organize photos by location.
