Atari VCS Will Offer Thousands of Retro Games

By

The Atari VCS is still a way from launching, and Atari has announced a video game streaming service. Atari has a deal with Antstream Arcade game subscription service that will be exclusive to the VCS when it launches.

The service will have a full library of over 300 games and thousands of more titles from other vintage game platforms. The service will include all manner of Neo Geo and Nintendo 64 games.

The game service will have leader boards and social challenges. Games streamed via the service will support the classic joystick and the modern controller. The service will cost you $10 monthly or $96 yearly.

The gaming subscriptions are starting to stack up, and there is certainly a limit to how many people are willing to pay for. Retro fans might jump on this, but PSNow offers new games and a slew of retro games as well.
