Apex Legends Update Squashes Bugs, New Gun Coming

Epic Games launched a patch for Apex Legends this week on PS4, Xbox, and PC. The update is focused on reducing crashes and squashing bugs in gameplay for the device. PlayStation gamers will be thrilled about the patch.

This update is specifically targeting a stability issue on the PS4 that sees the GPU hang, and a crash that happens when a button was pressed during the load process. Another resolved issue is one that caused players to move slower after being revived.

Another squashed bug had to do with Mirage’s special ability being used. Xbox crashes related to the Gibraltar epic skin have been addressed with the update reports GameSpot.

A new gun is coming soon to the game that appears to be an automatic rifle. The rifle also shows a mode where users can charge a shot as well. The weapon is expected to be added today.
