Red Dead Redemption 2 Player Glitches into Snow Area Ripe with Wildlife

Red Dead Redemption 2 has been the biggest smash hit of 2018 and gamers are spending huge amounts of time in the game world. Recently a gamer found a way to glitch beyond the northern border of the map into a large and unused snow area.

The fact that the area has wildlife that can be hunted and skinned and has geography like frozen lakes makes some think the area was cut from the game’s launch. Perhaps the area is something that will be unlocked in a future release.

A Reddit user called Huntroploria posted a video of the area on Reddit, and while he isn’t the first to discover it, his video was apparently what made the area well known. The process for glitching into the area sounds straightforward enough and reportedly involves pitching camp west of Barrow Lagoon and leaving the camp to glitch over the mountain reports GameRant.

There has been some indication that Rockstar may be getting ready for a DLC with new land to explore. That tip came to from an audio file that was data mined. Nothing has been officially announced at this time.
