Bungie Admits Destiny 2 Black Armory Expansion Power Requirements are too High
The latest expansion for Destiny 2 has only been out a few days now, and already gamers are complaining about the grind to level up powers to be able to play all the content. The problem players have is that the Lost Forges weapon-based activities have power levels that are too high for many to participate reports Kotaku.
Bungie wrote in a blog post, “Its become clear that we made the initial Power requirements for the Lost Forges too high.” The post noted that players at a 600 power level have “been unable to dive in and beat the final boss without grinding for new Power first.”
To help make the grind easier to endure, Bungie has dropped power level requirements by five. It admits that wasn’t much of a change, but it says that change could be made today without having to patch the game. Presumably, things will be tweaked again with a patch to make the grind easier.
We fully acknowledge that this is a small move, but it is the one that we can make today, Bungie wrote. This is not the full extent of the changes to the player experience that we are investigating, but it should give Guardians at 600 Power a better chance at completing the activity.
